Alamco  Qatar   has  several branches around   the world .  The beginning was in Lebanon in 1987 when the  founders  decided  to go ahead  from  running  business projects in Saudi Arabia to establishing a private commercial company in Lebanon. This event marked the first step of Alamco Lebanon S.A.L

Lebanon (Beirut)                  Alamco Lebanon                     founded 15-8-1987
    In 1987, Alamco Lebanon was created  in Beirut  under the  commercial name of “Alame for General Industry & Commerce”.  Initial activities were the manufacture  and  trade of marble and granite, and a factory for TERRAZO tiles. In 1990,  Alamco  improved  in business  by building  another  factory  specialized  in Granite and Marble and the business went up from one success to another. In 1998, the factory  was improved and supplied with high-tech Italian equipment to  handle European and local  raw material for manufacturing all kinds of marble and granite.  The company’s name was switched to “Alamco Company, Lebanon”.

Alamco did several projects in Lebanon, including:
-     Al-Sahel General Hospital in Beirut
-     The Municipality Palace of Ghoubairy, Beirut
-     Many other projects for Engineering Companies like:
·        Al-Idari Company
·        Al-Madar Company
·        Tasmim Compnay
·        Binaa Company

After this huge and rapid success, the decision was taken to expand the business on a more international scale.  The destination was Africa.

Africa (Conakry)             Societe Alameh              founded 30-9-1998  

    The beginning was in the late 1998 when a branch was built in Conakry,  Guinea under the name “Societe Alameh”. The company invested in extracting  Granite, in a high-tech crusher , and in establishing a branch  for contracting for marble works. The most important projects of Societe Alameh” include:
-     Contracts with big companies specialized in road and highway construction. Examples include: the French  Satome,  the Italian Santilo, the Italian Sericon, the American-Turkish Cadel, and Sodefa.
-     Taking  in  charge all the marble  works in  the VILLA    of the president of Guinea
-     Managing projects in other African countries like Seralion.
Many other projects were carried out and attained a huge success beyond expectation.

Qatar (Doha)                          Alamco Qatar                         founded 10-1-2005

    In 1/1/2005 with the will of God Alamco  opened a  branch in  Qatar-Doha under the name of (Alamco Qatar W.l.l). The Company consisted of a  industrial plant for Marble in the industrial area (36 street) , a showroom,  and offices for the Company in  Salwa  Road,  AlAzizia  Centre  Number  9.  The  factory was provided with the most highly  sophisticated  electronic  and  mechanical  equipment.  In addition, the company’s staff consists of highly-qualified  and professional managers, engineers, and technicians, all having a high experience in the domain. 

    The  factory is supplied with a widely varied collection of marble   (even the rare kinds),  granite,   and external  covering  stone  from various  countries  around  the world like: Italy, Spain , Brazil, Egypt, India,  Turkey,  and Lebanon.   The plant  is also  equipped  with all  necessary  transport  and  lifting  machinery,  all  to  ensure independence  in  production  and  to guarantee  autonomous  continuity.  A special technical  team was  established  to handle  installing the tiles, marble, and external covering stone.  This  team consists  of first - class technicians and experts carrying the Lebanese  nationality,  in addition to workers from other nationalities.

    Due to the huge construction projects that are happening in Qatar, Alamco added a new section,  the Ceramic Tiles Department, for importing and installing all kinds of Ceramic and Porcelain Tiles.  This step strengthens the ability of the company to satisfy almost  any  demand ,  and eliminates  the need for clients to make contracts with  other parties  to carry out  activities  related  to  the  field  of work of Alamco.  This  department  was  equipped  with various  kinds of Ceramic and Porcelain that serve  projects  at all scales , like  huge  commercial  projects  to  luxurious  private houses. 

Factory and its Equipment:

    To  stay updated  to  the  construction projects in Qatar, and due to the enormous improvement , the factory  has been provided with the most standard and high level technology  and  heavy machines  and equipment . For example, the factory has the “Water Jet Machine ”  that  can  do  the  architectural  design  with high  detail  and accuracy  for  big interior  halls , lobbies , and luxury  saloons. The system uses the Autocad and Alfacam software.  Other installments include huge and medium sized saws, some of which can automatically cut marble boards with the use of laser technology.
